Le Havre AC has released its new 2026-27 home kit for sale starting Wednesday, July 22. The Ligue 1 club switched kit suppliers this season to Hummel, and fans can now buy the kit at the Stade Océane official store after months of anticipation and mixed reactions online.
What do Le Havre AC supporters think of the new kit?
Fan opinions are divided. Jean-Claude, a supporter, bought two kits-one for himself and one for his son-praising the texture and the return to the club’s classic sky-blue and navy colors. « We’re back to the club’s colors, and it’s better than last year », he said.
Others, like Clément, find the kit less vibrant in person than in photos. « There are too many shades; it doesn’t feel like sky-blue or navy enough », he explained before hesitating to purchase. His friend Romain, a native of Le Havre, admitted he wasn’t thrilled but would still buy the kit. « I preferred last year’s design, but this one isn’t bad », he said, suggesting gold accents could have improved it.
Aymeric, visiting from Grasse for the holidays, summed up the mixed feelings: « Meh, I expected better. It looks like a handball jersey ». Despite his doubts, he plans to buy it anyway.
A €90 kit with limited availability
The home kit costs €89.90. Le Havre AC switched to Hummel this season after years with another supplier. The Stade Océane store saw a rush of supporters on opening day, with some fearing stock would run out quickly.
The away kit isn’t available yet but should arrive in the coming weeks. Fans hope the quality meets expectations after online criticism of the design as too dull.

The club resumed training about ten days ago, but its squad isn’t complete yet. The transfer window runs until September 1, and the Ligue 1 season kicks off on August 23 at home against AS Monaco. As of now, Le Havre AC sits 6th in Ligue 1 with 0 goals scored and 0 conceded.
Midfielder Amir Richardson will return to play for the Ciel & Marine this season. Fans are hoping for a stronger campaign than last year, when the club finished 14th in Ligue 1.
