Moroccan winger Sofiane Boufal has announced the end of his stint with Le Havre AC after leading the team to secure its place in Ligue 1 during the second half of this season.
Arriving on a free transfer during the winter window, Boufal took over from Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium and embraced the challenge of rescuing the French outfit from relegation. He proved to be an essential asset for the second part of the Ligue 1 season, scoring one goal and providing four assists across 17 appearances, including a standout performance in last weekend's decisive match against Lorient that officially secured Le Havre’s safety.
In an emotional Instagram post published earlier today, Boufal thanked his fans and the club.
