Le Havre AC in the race for Ta Bi
Le Havre AC, 14th in Ligue 1 in 2025 with 29 points (6W-11D-12L), is reportedly interested in Ivorian winger Ta Bi, currently at Sunderland. According to Foot Mercato, four Ligue 1 clubs, including Le Havre AC, are closely monitoring the 21-year-old, who has been injured since joining in January.
Who is Ta Bi?
Ta Bi, a youth international for Ivory Coast, joined Sunderland in the winter for a nominal fee. Injured since his arrival, he has still managed to feature in pre-season. His profile as a fast and technical winger has attracted several clubs, including Le Havre AC, who are looking to strengthen their attack.
Why Le Havre AC?
With only 24 goals scored and 37 conceded in 2025, Le Havre AC needs offensive reinforcements. Ta Bi, still relatively inexperienced, could bring a new dynamic to the team. The Normandy club will, however, have to compete with the likes of Lyon, Nice and Lorient, as well as English clubs such as West Ham and Burnley.
