Le Havre AC face Angers this Saturday with seven players unavailable. Manager Didier Digard confirmed the absences of suspended defender Mwanga and the injured Argney, Mpasi, Pembélé, Zagadou, Ndiaye and Mambimbi.
"We cannot count on Mwanga, suspended, but also on Argney, Mpasi, Pembélé, Zagadou, Ndiaye and Mambimbi, all in the treatment room," Digard told reporters. This injury crisis complicates matters for a Le Havre side sitting 15th in Ligue 1 with just one point from two games. The club ended last season positively with a 2-0 win at Lorient.
Angers also arrive depleted. Their coach Stéphane Gilli stated his team "travels without Diallo, suspended, and without Belkebla, who is in a return-to-play phase." The visitors, 12th at the time, will field a reshuffled lineup.
To cover the gaps, Digard named a starting eleven with Gallon in goal. The defence features Jelert, Seko, Touba and Ouziad. The midfield consists of Mizuta, Ebonog, captain Richardson and Nakamura. The attack is led by Maja and Samatta. This match is a chance for Le Havre to earn their first home points this season and climb away from the relegation zone. The schedule remains tough with an away trip to 8th-placed Marseille set for October 24th.
